About Carole

I am a mother of three, author, business owner, registered nurse, parent educator and lactation consultant. I’d like to share my blog as just another line of communication with parents and parents-to-be about health and wellness topics affecting their families.

Carole recently published  THE BABY NURSE BIBLE: Secrets Only a Baby Nurse Can Tell You About Having and Caring for Your Baby. Carole draws on her experience of more than two decades at Boston’s prestigious birthing hospitals, to address the critical questions and concerns of expectant and new parents. Referencing the latest research, this comprehensive guide, in chronological order, answers every concern from pregnancy, birth and the first three months at home with the newborn.

Carole is president and founder of Boston Baby Nurses, an agency that provides lactation and postpartum services to women and babies. Carole’s team of nurses provides overnight support, lactation consultations and daytime nurse visits.

Through independent study and her work as a maternal child nurse and certified lactation consultant, Arsenault has helped parents through pregnancy, labor, birth and the newborn period. Over the last decade she has successfully assisted hundreds of new and expecting parents transition into their new roles as parents by sharing her thoughts about sleep, schedules, soothing, calming and infant development. She is also an authority on environmental toxins relating to pregnancy and the newborn.

Arsenault provides lactation consulting to clients of many of Boston’s top birthing hospitals including the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Hospital, St Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital and Mount Auburn Hospital.
