Valentines Day Dessert

To all of the amazing expecting and new moms out there, I want to wish you a Happy Valentines Day! If you’re looking for a unique and romantic dessert to share with your valentine this weekend, that’s also easy to prepare and fairly healthy, I wanted to share this “Fruit Decadence” recipe. Enjoy!

Fruit Decadence

Ingredients:

-16 oz bag of frozen fruit (Use fruits you enjoy, whether it’s mixed berries or a blend of berries with peaches, pineapple, and cherries)

-Bar of chocolate (Use the chocolate of your choice. I love using white chocolate but if you really want to keep it on the healthy side, dark chocolate would be a delicious choice too!)

Directions:

-Place frozen fruit on a plate and leave out to thaw about 30 minutes

-Chop chocolate up into small slices (so you can easily sprinkle over the fruit)

-Preheat oven to 350-400 degree F

-Once fruit is fairly thawed, spread fruit out onto a casserole dish or baking pan

-Sprinkle chocolate evenly over the fruit

-Put fruit into the oven and check on it every few minutes and take out once chocolate has melted

-Serve with Vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
